The Phantom Band have something particularly special planned for the run up to Christmas, they’re taking over Stereo for two day on December 16-17 for A Phestive Phantomime and they’re bringing along some of their close and rather talented friends along for the ride.
The musical entertainment features The Phantom Band opening the first day and closing the last, while on the first they’ll be joined by Holy Mountain, Tut Vu Vu and Pabs “Paul Thomson” Debussy DJ, the second features Take A Worm For A Walk Week, Jacob Yates and the Pearly Gate Lockpickers, Torsten Lauschmann and DJ Bobby Cleaver, doors 7pm.
Glasgow Podcart’s Nightmare Before Christmas line up has gone with the shock of placing the relatively unknown As In Bear as headlines of a bill featuring a pretty amazing array of local talent with PAWS, Citizens and Lady North also on the line up, it’s at the Captains Rest on December 18, tickets £5.
Another Winning Sperm Party Generator Gig on the agenda, this one’s on Sunday outside the Glue Factory, Ultimate Thrush and Streets of Rage will play this always special event weather permitting at 2pm sharp, donations for fuel are welcomed.
