Bdy_Prts is the project of Jill and Jen, the former of Sparrow and the Workshop the latter Strike The Colours, while live they are backed up by Jonny Scott (TAWFAWW) and Scott Patterson (Sons and Daughters).
The vocals are what make ‘Cold Shoulder’, literally; they provide percussion, melodic leads as well as lead vocals and a mass of harmonies.
The rest is synth arpeggios and stabs of guitar (brittle tones that appeared on Sparrow and the Workshop records).
All in Bdy_Prts are the most interesting electronic ‘pop’ act to come from post CHVRCHES Glasgow.
Their pedigree alone should have ensured us that they would bring something refreshing to the table, here the production is a glossy affair, however this is still a very much home grown project.
