With escalating attention across Europe and the US, the duo are currently on tour across the UK as main support to Australian wordsmith Courtney Barnett, as well as slots at various festivals including The Great Escape and Dot To Dot.
After hitting it off when they played together in London last October, they’ve just begun Ms Barnett’s highly-anticipated first proper UK run together, winding up at Islington Assembly Hall on May 29.
Full details of all the shows are below, the band have just been announced as playing Radio 1 Big Weekend at the end of May too.
Plans for Honeyblood’s album launch shows as well as a return to the US will be revealed shortly for July. Watch this space.
Honeyblood’s self-titled record is scheduled for the 14th July in the UK and 15th July in the States via FatCat Records.
Recorded at legendary producer Peter Katis’ Tarquin Studios (The National, Interpol) in ten days last November, ‘Honeyblood’ is an accomplished and delightfully fierce record.
