Record review: Madison – Mending

MadisonOpener, ‘Mending’, starts with a great piano opening followed by standout vocals, though it is a bit sudden and loud, however, once you get into the track your ears are blessed with this magnificent sounding voice that captivates everyone’s attention.

‘Dancing, Happy and Excited’ kicks off with the best drumming that you’ll hear in a long time, following on to the most grabbing lyrics, probably because they are so simple yet work so well: “sticks and stones won’t break my bones no/don’t shatter yourself with that delicate tone oh no no”.

No matter what track you listen to on this EP you will always fall in love with it, everything works with one another to create a masterpiece.

If you’re into unassuming pop rock then Madison is one band you’ll very much look forward to hearing more from, you’ll just fall in love with the band as soon as each song starts playing.
