Angus Munro is a piano-based singer-songwriter who combines his love of musical theatre with the songs of Greenwich Village in the 70s, with influences that include Scott Walker, Ron Sexsmith and Ben Folds.
Munro’s vocals throughout are spectacular and mesmerising, the man most certainly has talent yet makes it look so easy.
‘HM’ is the addictive standout, but each song is so beautifully written it’s hard to believe that just one man wrote it.
If these songs are anything to go by then there is no doubt Munro will go far, you can tell he has worked hard for many years to get to the standard he has managed to achieve on these tracks and the emotion that Munro felt while writing this EP comes across perfectly.
