A seriously sensational debut solo EP from Scottish based Northern Irish artist Jee4ce (pronounced g-force) – expressing an immense collection of six different styles in his repertoire – this visionary explodes onto the Scottish hip hop scene forthright.

Jam-packed with refreshingly original tracks, Jee4ce seamlessly incorporates fresh, smooth beats with effortlessly flowing lyrics.

Overall, the truly emotive tracks featured on this EP are serious with angry undertones and incredible content expressing the struggles of being an artist, challenges and social status that develops this raw lyrical skill.

With undercurrents of wit and humour ‘Join the Club’ somewhat overpowers the other tracks as a successful capturing of meaning and subculture.

With a catchy chorus mixed with strong lyrics – this track holds particular comfortable familiarity with references to youth culture and colloquial lyrics and has a similar humorous essence and pure raw songwriting similar to artists like Jamie T and Ed Sheeran.

This, Jee4ce’s first release, is an ambitious and thought provoking array of musical expressionism, identified by its unique strong sense of accent and style.

A London feel throughout dominated by a Scottish-Irish twist, it is inconceivable that Jee4ce will not make his mark on the Scottish hip hop scene and furthermore that My Friend Jack as being the inspiring debut EP to launch him from obscurity to an influential role in subculture music.
