Tonight Glaswegian four-piece Tetra launch their new EP, We’re Not Holy.
The band has become known for their energetic and passionate sound and has got their name known all around Glasgow.
The first act to the stage is Between Mockingbirds and despite their slightly grungy vibe, when they play, it all flows together creating an uplifting rock sound throughout, complimenting the singer’s vocals style.
You can’t deny they have a 90’s rock feel about them, especially with the guitar riffs.
Next up is Our Lucid Reality, and there is a sudden change of atmosphere; this is a band that knows how to experiment with instruments and create a totally unique sound.
Live, this sound is full of adrenaline and totally thrilling; throughout the set the vocals are captivating, giving a true and enthralling performance.
The 21st State take to the stage with confidence; King Tut’s has started to pack out considerably, and as they start to play as large group form.
Spirits are high and the band’s indie rock set is extremely enthusiastic; out of all the bands so far this one has the best stage presence and a great connection with the audience, a good warm up for the main act.
Finally it’s time for Tetra and they have gained quite a lot of praise since their debut EP and know how to captivate an audience.
They give a heavy intro before starting ‘Whistles by Wolves’, which they play with conviction and the audience gets bigger ever so slightly.
Much like The 21st State they have a high energy that suits their playing and sound; the set all round shows that Tetra has grown so much since their debut EP, they were on a few “ones to watch” lists and its clear to see why.
