There is no lack of energy here, all 2-minutes-25-seconds are packed full of intense rhythms and forceful vocals.
The prominent riff, which flows throughout, is bound to get stuck in the listener’s head, as is the chorus.
‘Living Free’ is a good heavy rock track, however it does seem to strictly follow the recipe for creating an archetypal track of this type.
The Northern need to place their own stamp on things, though, through this single, it can be easily argued that they have the potential to do so with success in the future.
