Made As Mannequins – ‘Hawaii’

Made As Mannequins describe themselves as: “Fairy dust, delayed guitars and carnival style synth come together to create something completely average”

It must be said, that the band’s new single ‘Hawaii’ is far from average.

Beginning with a combination of loud drumming, bass and a repetitive guitar riff, we are immediately thrown into the madness of the track.

‘Hawaii’ shares a sound similar to Friendly Fires and Foals, it’s extremely lively and does not hold back on building up to several crescendos throughout.

Although released in January, it is a track that screams summer, while also sticking to their description with a carnival feel through the use of drums and guitar.

‘Hawaii’ certainly reflects its title very well.
