‘Wake’ is the title track from Dante‘s album of the same name, released earlier this year.
Produced and recorded by Frightened Rabbit’s Andy Monaghan the album has picked up a large amount of support from various press and was also named one of The Herald’s Top 50 Albums of 2013.
The single begins with a softly picked guitar and soft vocals before breaking into life by showcasing a large range of instruments including the fiddle allowing Dante to show off their unique sound.
This combination of instruments used gives off a traditional Celtic feel that Dante have managed to translate beautifully into a modern landscape.
Coinciding with the release of ‘Wake’, Dante will play a number of local shows and festivals around Scotland in the upcoming months including both Wickerman and Belladrum Festivals.
