Sienna – ‘Wandering Star’

Less than a month before heading to Kendal Calling and Belladrum festivals, Sienna decides to release the sweet ‘Wandering Star’ a harmonious yet raw musical UFO.

A what? Well yeah… Imagine a band that takes its influence from the country, western spaghetti-like music where banjos and violins collide into perfect sorrow guided melodies in this era where music has become pristine and clean thanks to electronics and computers.

‘Wandering Star’ welcomes any nomadic listener into a world where things seem simpler and easier, the track is a delightful surprise, exposing a band that can associate trumpets, banjos, whistling and background singers in perfect harmony resulting in a very colourful and intimate song that conveys all the elements to brighten your mood after a stressful day at the office.

The song resonates almost like a Scottish version of ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ with a western twist, just like the perfect drink, it is refreshing, light-hearted and will accommodate your summer nights to a tee.
