The latest Rave Child presents Wednesday night showcase is once again in the lovely Broadcast basement and features a hot touring band in the form of Kins as well as some superb local talent to compliment them in Donald Macdonald (and the Islands) and Tetra, and it’s brought to you for completely free.
Kins is a Brighton based four-piece whose live performances push power into their complex and yearning recordings, which span from the anthemic to beautiful minimal pop.
This is the first chance for the relocated Australian’s to impress a Glasgow crowd as part of a full UK headliner tour and will be eager to pull out a performance not to be missed.
Glasgow based Donald Macdonald and the Islands, who hail from all over Scotland, have been treating us to their indie folk stylings for a few years now and has built a solid following.
Expect some mastery in the art of songwriting as well as a party atmosphere, filtered through a music upbringing and a love of early American rock ‘n’ roll.
Tetra (formerly known as Israeli) is a Glasgow experimental alternative rock band who are difficult to find anything about online but they come highly recommended by Donald and co., so expect them to kick of the evening in style.
