Make Sparks release ‘Part of The Masquerade’ EP and head to Tut’s on April 18, 8pm, £6.

A Quiet Night In presents AQNI#3: with Finding Albert, It Girl, Kill The Waves, One Last Secret, Colour-Coded at Stereo, March 20, 7pm, £5.

Map & Atlases return to Glasgow on April 19 for a gig at the Sleazy’s, support comes from Trapped In Kansas.

We Have Band are playing the Captains Rest tomorrow with Any Color Black and Crash Club as the local support.

PAWS recently signed to Brighton based label Fat Cat who are more than familiar with Scottish acts and led them to bigger things in the past, so all the best to those guys, they deserve it, expect an album later this year.

Volcano the Bear are going on a UK tour in April starting on Glasgow on the 6th at Mono, 10pm, free.

Three new shows from Blue Sabbath Black Fiji coming up, firstly they play with Phat Trophies at Sleazy’s in the PT USA fundraiser Party on March 10, then at Sleazy’s again on March 24 with You Don’t Masturbate, Tourist Association, Okishima Island, A View From Nihil, then at the Green Door Studio Party with Ultimate Thrush, Smack Wizards, Fem Bitch Nation, Silk Cut and more at Stereo on April 21.

What The Blood Revealed celebrate the launch of their new album ‘Harbour of Devils’, out in March on Field Records, with a gig at the 13th Note on March 24, support from Bloodlunch, Karhide, 7.30pm.

Kevin Devine plays Tut’s on February 29 with support from PartWindPartWolf.

Aames and Stone Chase Fox play the Roxy 171 on Saturday, 7.30pm, free.

Glasgow Music and Film Festival present the throbbing goth-synth creep-scapes from the horror score fanatic Umberto at SWG3 on Saturday, support comes from Organs of Love, 8pm, £5.

Wakefield four piece The Spills are coming to Bar Bloc on March 22, support comes from East Kibride’s up and coming indie folksters Poor Frisco, free, 9pm.

San Jose experimental duo Xiu Xiu play the Captains Rest on March 15 with support from the excellent Sad City.
