No Island – No Island [Struggletown]

So I go ahead and stick on this EP and get down to the business of giving it the once over, when all of a sudden the first track ends, and throws me into the second, then the third and so on.

No Island do one thing – fast, loud punk.

There’s not so much to say about each track, not one of which is over a minute and a half, except that there’s no question that these guys are very apt and very capable musicians.

All the tones are there, the production is tight and I can’t complain that anything on the EP isn’t up to scratch, there just isn’t enough there.

They could’ve stretched each song out and expanded upon the ideas they had, but chose not to pursue.
