Well the big day is finally here, Croc Madame Vs. Croc Monsieur present what is quite possibly the hottest line up of Glasgow bands you’ll see this year and all for only £5 at the Art School with all proceeds going the superb cause of sending North American War and Fur Hood on tour in the States later this month.
The line up if you didn’t know already is Remember Remember, Ultimate Thrush, Divorce, Pro Life, North American War, BONG MONSTER, Holy Mountain, The Cosmic Dead, John Knox Sex Club, Gropetown and Tangles. If that’s not enough throw in Cry Parrot and Copy Haho DJ’s slots and you’ve got a night. Doors are at 8 be there sharpish!
If for some reason that isn’t too your tastes there’s another brilliant Glasgow based line up at the Captain’s Rest as Glasgow PodcART present the launch of Paws debut EP ‘My Parents Said We Can’t See Each Other Any More’ with support from Male Pattern Band, Mondegreen and Lady North. If you can’t make it along tonight then catch Paws at Love Music this afternoon at 4.30pm.
The band have albums and t-shirts and everything you could ever want available here, or I’m sure they’ll be available at the venues too if you ask nicely.
Brain Burner have another couple of free shows at the Liquid Ship coming up, the first of these shows on the 13th March features Helhesten & Fritz Welch, Blue Sabbath Black Fiji, Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo, Hivver, while the second on 27th March features The Radiation Line, UG!, Messiah Complex and iii’rd Omkeeper. Both should be plenty good and you can hardly grumble at the price.
Optimo’s Keith McIvor aka JD Twitch is on Sound Cloud and he’s been uploading tacks like nobody’s business, here’s one for your pleasure:
