Today’s news featuring Remember Remember, Vars of LITCHI and more

Remember Remember (pictured by Stewart Fullerton) will launch their second full length, The Quickening, on September 24 which is due for general release two days later. More details of the album on the Rock Action website.

Vars of LITCHI are will support Japanese psychedelic rock act Acid Mother Temple in the latest gig to be put on by Cry Parrot, the gig will take place at Sleazy’s on November 9, tickets £7.

Favourite Son is putting on a show at Pivo Pivo on August 11, the line up features Dead Boy Robotics, Any Color Black and Blank Canvas, tickets £5. Also at Pivo Pivo there’s an Ayrshire showcase all day event putting on all the best acts from the area from 3pm on September 4, the line up features The Darien Venture, This Familiar Smile, Bellow Below, Rose Parade, Forester, As In bear, In:Auteurs, Juan Pablo, Hostiles, Little Fire, Tragic O’Hara, Trusty & The Foe, Kieran Robinson, Ben Ellis, more details here.

For Abel play The Bay on August 13 with support from Visions Of, Captain Majestic and The Caliber.

Male Pattern BandNasty Party and Jake Beveredge will play a free gig down at the Riverside Transport Museum on the afternoon on July 21.
