Today’s news featuring Sparrow and the Workshop, Divorce and more

Sorry folks for the lack luster posting of late, things are hectic and keeping up to date with Glasgow while I’m not actually there isn’t the easiest. Needless to say here’s a few things I’ve heard are happening:

 

Sparrow and the Workshop are playing Tut’s again this time on May 23rd, TICKETS £7

Divorce are doing a live set along with a DJ set from Errors at Knock Knock on Thursday night, so get yourself along to the Art School, £3/£5, more details HERE.

North American War will return to the summer Glasgow from their tour in the States to play a small Scottish tour covering Glasgow, Inverness, Dundee and Aberdeen between May 5th-8th.

Pop Goes the Revolution Live is back on April 14th with a line up that that includes Skinny Villains, Male Pattern Band, Butterflies on Strings and Napoleon Rings at The Captain’s Rest, tickets are £4 or £5 with a Skinny Villains single. Details HERE.

Upcoming gigs

Golden Grrrls support Crystal Stilts at the Arches tonight so if you need something to so there’s not much better than this.

Also, Brain Burner presents The Radiation Line, UG!, Messiah Complex, Lady Thighs and Cop Porn at the Liquid Ship tonight in an excellent line up that’s also free of charge, get yourself along please, bring your friends or anyone you find on the street.

No Comet play a free show at Mono on Monday in another chance to see some excellent talent without paying any money.
